Engineering Annual Fund
Every gift makes a difference, and you make it all possible.
The sense of community among Duke Engineers runs deep. Generations of alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends have helped make the success of the Engineering Annual Fund possible through generous contributions and participation. Gifts to the Annual Fund are unrestricted and pay for need-based financial aid grants to enroll the brightest students, programs that encourage students to apply classroom learning to real-world problems, a world-class faculty committed to student mentoring and groundbreaking research, and much more!
The Engineering Annual Fund is one of 16 schools and areas that make up the Duke Annual Fund. The Annual Fund campaign runs from July 1 to June 30 to align with Duke’s fiscal year.
Undergraduate alumni who make multi-year pledges to the Annual Fund will have the entirety of their commitments counted in their class’ reunion gift totals. A multi-year pledge can also help you keep track of your giving and ensure that you continue to support the Annual Fund each fiscal year.
Consistent giving is so important that Duke created a giving society to honor its most loyal Annual Fund donors. Donors who have supported the Annual Fund for five or more consecutive years are recognized as members of the Cornerstone Society. Undergraduate alumni who have supported the Annual Fund every year since graduation are further recognized as lifetime donors. Consistent giving is the cornerstone of the Annual Fund’s success!
Duke has established a number of leadership clubs to recognize its top Annual Fund donors. Membership is renewable annually and is based on Annual Fund gifts made or facilitated by an individual and his or her spouse.
