Graduate Student Resources
Grad School Isn’t Easy. We Get That.
Duke isn’t a place for sink-or-swim attitudes.
When you join our Pratt School of Engineering community, you create bonds that go deeper than projects, papers and performance. We’re invested in your success, not only professionally but personally.
We’re about building a support network that works to keep everyone afloat and striving for their goals. We’re about making connections, lasting and beneficial.

Engineering Master’s Programs Student Advisory Board
A body to represent the voice of our master’s students. Board members provide valuable insights and ideas and plan events and activities that build and strengthen the community.
Departmental Grad Student Associations
Each of Duke Engineering’s academic departments host permanent committees that allow graduate students to advise faculty and staff on their needs and to work collaboratively to build a deep sense of community.
