WIN Empowerment Fund
Open to All Juniors & Seniors With Financial Need
Even the best laid plans run into roadblocks.
Created through the generosity of the Pratt School of Engineering group within the Duke Women’s Impact Network (WIN), this fund ensures that no eligible student misses a career opportunity because of an unexpected expense not covered by financial aid.
Students with the highest financial need, as determined by Duke’s Karsh Office of Undergraduate Financial Support, receive priority.

What’s Covered
We provide support for needs remaining after discounts and waivers. Career maximum of $1,000 per student.
Grad School Prep
We support the purchase of exam preparation materials and fees charged to apply to graduate, professional or medical school.
Travel
Being there makes a difference. We can cover travel expenses that facilitate attendance at interviews, research conferences and qualified professional society meetings.
Attire
Appearance is important. Look the part through funding for suits and similar business dress.
