Lunch and Learn with Kelli Luginbuhl, PhD ’17, Biomedical Engineering

Kelli will share details about her journey from PhD to founder, and CSO to CEO to General Manager, including what it was like to lead teams through high-pressure, high-growth phases of innovative product launch in both startup and corporate environments. A big part of her success included building high performing teams. She will share tips for graduate students on what can set you apart in a pool of applicants, how to consider your own strengths in choosing a professional path, and what skills she wishes she had developed before leaving Duke.

Kelli now serves on the board of directors for a startup, directs the I&E PhD Innovators Program at Duke, and serves as a Founder-in-Residence for the NC Center for Entrepreneurial Development.
