This training provides an overview of how Pratt staff can influence key performance drivers within our self-insured, self-administered Workers’ Compensation program. We’ll also review Pratt-specific injury reporting and workers’ compensation data from the past two years. Additionally, the session will cover unemployment claims management, with insights particularly relevant to HR staff, Business Managers, and others involved in employee relations or offboarding. This workshop is ideal for HR staff, managers, lab managers, and lab personnel who support employee safety, injury reporting, and leave management.

Topics include:
✅ Same-day injury reporting
✅ Obtaining initial medical treatment
✅ Supporting safe work during recovery
✅ Trends in injury types and reporting timeliness (including Pratt-specific data)
✅ Overview of Duke’s approach to unemployment claims and recent case insights
