Visit Duke Engineering
Prospective students who would like to join our community of scholars are encouraged to visit.
We offer tours of our facilities and provide opportunities to meet our faculty and students.
For Prospective Undergraduates
Take the Pratt Walking Tour!
Tours are led by friendly student guides and last about an hour.
For Prospective Master's Students
If you are traveling to Duke, we invite you visit the Pratt School of Engineering.
Visits can include:
- Informal meetings with program faculty and staff
- A campus tour with master's students
- A visit to a class

- Your intended area of study
We also offer virtual events if you can't make it to campus.
For Prospective PhD Students
Each spring, the Pratt School of Engineering’s doctoral degree programs send invitations to selected applicants for expense-paid, full-day information sessions. Participants receive tours of the Duke campus and Duke Engineering research facilities, as well as meet students and faculty.
These arranged group visits are typically scheduled for the last Fridays in January, February and March. For those unable to attend on group dates, individual visits can be arranged.
