How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

Every day, I try to do one thing outside of my comfort zone - whether that's being the team presenter for a group project, getting lunch with a faculty member, or trying out a new study space on campus. That mindset has both helped me take advantage of every opportunity at Duke and helped me grow as an individual.

Where I see myself after Duke...

Medical school :)

How I like to spend my free time...

I love hiking and going on runs outside - Duke Forest and Eno River State Park have great trails. I also try to spend at least part of every weekend working with the Durham community through service projects.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

Some of my all-time favorite classes so far have been: Biomaterials, Medical Sociology, and Medical Device Design.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

The Duke Alumni Network is an incredible resource, and as former Duke students, every single person you reach out wants to help you succeed. As early as freshman year, I found several mentors through this network as well as people willing to give advice and help me make connections.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I'm a BME Design Fellow and Pratt Research Fellow in the Hoffman lab. I'm also strongly rooted in Rotary International, an international service and professional organization. (The Duke Rotaract club partners with other local Rotary and Rotaract clubs to lead community, international, and professional development initiatives).
