How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

I have made the most of my Duke experience by learning from and challenging the brilliant minds that we are surrounded by on Duke's campus. I believe one of the best ways to learn and become better is to listen to and make an effort to learn from people who think differently than you do. It is a privilege to be surrounded by so many unique individuals, and I think that it is very important to take advantage of that fact.

Where I see myself after Duke...

The future is not clear for me after Duke, but I would like to work in a setting where I am exposed to multiple different positions and applications of the Engineering skills I have acquired at Duke. A rotational program would be the best place where I can do this, and maybe after learning where my passions lie, I can earn a master's degree! I always want to be challenged in a way that allows me to continue learning and growing.

How I like to spend my free time...

I like to spend my free time doing absolutely nothing with people I love; just enjoying one another's company. On the other hand, I also like to be active sometimes, whether it be running, snowboarding, surfing (if my environment allows) or just playing games :)

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

My favorite classes at Duke have been ones where I was able to complete projects. I know that this sounds general and vague, but I have to understand that I learn the most (both academically, and socially) when I am working on a project that requires me to employ multiple different skills (not all engineering-specific). I especially have loved classes where I had to work with a group because, as I mentioned earlier, I learn so much from my peers. So, following these criteria, I would say my favorite class I have taken at Duke was ECE364 (also called DANCE308) ... it is an ECE elective that is also cross-listed in the Dance Department. Such an amazing class that pushed me creatively, socially, and technically!

Resources I love to use at Duke...

Classmates!!! I have found that my classmates have been some of the best resources I have used at Duke. I also think TAs and professors are always excellent resources. I also want to take advantage of resources such as the Co-Lab.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I am on the Ski and Snowboard Team!
