Favorite spot on campus...

I love the Wilkinson second-floor conference room that overlooks the Chapel. It's such a beautiful view to have while doing work with some of my best friends.

Advice I would tell my first-year self...

I would tell myself to do work outside of my dorm room more often, it feels much less lonely and it's a great way to make friends.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

I loved the Thompson Writing Program writing consultant appointments, which helped me with my essays and papers for multiple classes. I also took advantage of the OIT Software Licensing discounts to get some good software.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

ECE 110, I really loved how the lab portion of this class tied together what we learned in the lecture while giving us really good skills to use in electrical engineering with the projects we created. I found myself really excited about the applications of the different circuits we designed and how I could use them more practically on a larger scale.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I'm a part of Duke Dhamaka, the competitive bhangra (north-Indian dance style) team. I'm also a project lead on Runway of Dreams, a club dedicated to creating accessible clothing for people with disabilities. I'm a member of Pratt's Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Community undergraduate subcommittee as well. I also am part of a Bass Connections team researching the effects of head impacts on young athletes.

How I like to spend my free time...

I love hiking and mountain biking at home in Phoenix, and at Duke, I replaced those with taking long walks between East and West campuses. It's super relaxing to clear my head between tough classes. I also love crocheting and reading.
