How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

Last summer, I participated in NSF's Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) at Duke. This was all because I reached to a professor about my interest in research. I have studied abroad in Spain, where I finally got to learn the language of my grandparents and explore a beautiful culture.

Where I see myself after Duke...

I hope to enter the R&D industry. Eventually (but definitely), I will get my master's degree and start a mentorship to serve young students in impoverished communities.

How I like to spend my free time...

On my free time, I like to run, cook, organize, play board games, and especially catch up with friends.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

I love so many of my classes! My top 5 are Aerospace Structures (ME473), Statics & Mechanics (EGR201), Dynamics (EGR244), Linear Algebra (MATH216), and Forensic Psychology, which I took as a Spring Breakthrough class.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

The Foundry and Co-lab are great places to work on projects or make small gifts for friends. Also, I know if I need help with anything I can talk to my advisor, my dean, Murad from the Pod, and Steve and Greg from the Student Machine Shop.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I am part of a Christian ministry. It's a great way to let go of any worries and just be with amazing people + Jesus! I'm also a TA for EGR101 and I love it! I participated in Motorsports, where I learned so much and had a lot of fun.
