How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

It is really important to have a balanced life in college, which includes making time for both academics, friends, and your health (sleep, exercise, cooking, etc).

Where I see myself after Duke...

My dream job is to become a neonatologist and try to apply my biomedical knowledge as a doctor!

How I like to spend my free time...

I love going on hikes or cooking meals with my friends.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

My favorite class at Duke was definitely BME473L, or Design I. This class is part of BME Design Fellows and has allowed me to learn how to struggle yet learn from my mistakes. The teacher, Dr. Palmeri, is also very wise and engaging.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

Go to teacher office hours! It helps to build an academic relationship that will make you feel more confident to participate in class.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I am the director of FEMMES Connect, a program that encourages middle/high school young women to participate in STEM-related professional and social activities. I am also the director of philanthropy for my sorority, which focuses on raising money and awareness for breast cancer.
