How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

I've made the most of my Duke experience by reaching out and trying new things! Whether it be joining different clubs, exploring new places, or spontaneously making new friends, putting myself out of comfort zone in a manageable way has really helped me get the most out of my time here :)

Where I see myself after Duke...

After Duke, I hope to further my education by going to grad school and obtaining either a master's or PhD in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in cellular/genetic engineering. I'm also hoping to continue research after I graduate!

How I like to spend my free time...

In my free time, I enjoy dancing with Swing Dance and Sabro, learning how to cook/bake, playing Smash Ultimate, listening to Jazz at the Mary Lou, and spending time with my friends and family.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

EGR101 and my FOCUS class on Genetics & Epigenetics

Resources I love to use at Duke...

The Duke Wellness Center, and the Center for Multicultural Affairs (CMA)

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

Last year, I took part in the FOCUS program that is offered to incoming freshmen and also worked as a tutor for America Reads/America Counts as part of my work-study. In the Fall, I will be a TA for EGR101, an RA for Few Quad, and will be participating in pulmonary health research with the Lee Lab.
