How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

Whenever I have found a new interest, either academically or personally, I have looked into ways to further develop it. And Duke offers countless events and opportunities to not just learn about something but put it into practice.

Where I see myself after Duke...

After Duke, I plan on attending medical school with goals to become a vascular surgeon.

How I like to spend my free time...

I enjoy playing intramural basketball and love to explore new places in both Durham and Raleigh.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

My favorite class thus far was quantitative physiology because it broadened my ideology about medicine while further developing my engineering skills.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

The Career Center has helped connect me with alumni who have been able to help me understand how to make my future aspirations more tangible. Additionally, the Academic Resource Center has great suggestions on improving study habits which is very important especially during the transition from high school to college.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

As I discovered a passion for tissue engineering while at Duke, I have become involved in a research lab focused around tissue engineering and have continued interning at Humacyte, a local tissue engineering blood vessel company.
