How I've made the most of my Duke experience...

I love attending performances of any type (Dance, Acapella, Improv) whenever I get the chance and am always looking for events to attend. I am involved in some tech organizations that have allowed me to help other people and I always try to get involved in things that I catch my eye.

Where I see myself after Duke...

I would love to work for a digital health startup or do software engineering for a medical technology company.

How I like to spend my free time...

I love watching movies, pretty much any type but especially going back and watching old classics that I've missed. I have a "100 Movies to Watch" poster that I hope to get through. I have also recently gotten into reading again, and at Duke and through Zoom at home I have been attending a few kickboxing classes.

My favorite class(es) at Duke...

I really liked my medical device design class last semester. It was the first time I got to do hands-on work with medical devices and it was a lot of fun. I also loved my BME244 class just because it really teaches you how the body is made and why it’s made the way it is.

Resources I love to use at Duke...

I am part of an organization called DTech and the people there have been hugely helpful in advancing my interests. I also love looking to see if the Co-Lab has any roots classes I am interested in, and I monitor the Career Center page to look at events that they may be putting on.

Co-Curricular/Engagement Experiences...

I am on the executive board of DTech as the communications chair and I have been helping with a few side projects over the summer. I recently joined the BMES club, as well as Peer For You. I also do Bass Connections research involving analyzing brain scans of mice with Alzheimer's disease.
