The Pratt Parent Circle

A giving club for our most involved non-alumni parents

Sending your child off to Duke doesn’t mean they’ve left your family—they’ve just joined ours. You can join our family, too. During the years your student grows into a creative and inspired engineer, you can make a lasting impact as a part of the Pratt Parent Circle.

For Active, Involved Parents Like You

The Pratt Circle is a giving club for non-alumni parents that support the Engineering Annual Fund. The annual fund is the philanthropic foundation of everything that makes the Duke Engineering student experience so unique, from First-Year Design to 360 Coaching and so much more.

We’re proud members of the Pratt Parent Circle. It is the perfect way to interact with faculty and staff, to better understand all things Pratt and to connect with other families—especially through fun events like ‘Design + Wine’ and ‘Java with Jerry.’

Be Part of the Duke Engineering Family

Pratt Circle members are our most involved parents. In recognition of this relationship, members are invited to a special event with the Vinik Dean of Engineering during Family Weekend, as well as to other special events throughout the year.

Plus, your gift also applies to the Duke Parents Committee, making it a doubly wonderful way to be meaningfully involved at Duke!

Our son’s Duke experience is a rigorous academic schedule balanced by a fun and engaging campus life. And, we get to enjoy our own Duke experience with the Pratt Parent Circle.
