Art historians worked with Duke Engineering's Guillermo Sapiro to create software that projects light on sculptures
A new hands-on exhibit at the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke gives visitors a chance to use technology to color ancient statues. Duke computer scientists and art historians worked with Guillermo Sapiro, the Edmund T. Pratt, Jr. School Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering, to create software that projects a multitude of colors onto the sculptures using light from a projector.
