The Duke CTSA Special Populations Core (SPC) will hold its first annual Special Populations Research Symposium on Friday, October 2, 2020 from 12:30-2:30 pm. This event is open to all Duke affiliates, and is primarily for fellows, postdocs, trainees, or other Duke researchers interested in engaging special populations in research. Featured Presentations: -NIH Inclusion Requirements: Insights from Reviewers -Keynote: The 5Ts Framework for Inclusion of Older Adults -SPC Pilot Award: Children and the opioid epidemic: Age-stratified exposures, harms, & disparities -CTSA Core Spotlight: Community Engagement (CERI) LATIN-19 Plus breakout sessions on engaging different populations in research.
