REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. The 2015 International Year of Light, as proclaimed by the United Nations, is an exciting, historic moment and the Fitzpatrick Institute for Photonics (FIP) will recognize this global event at its 2015 annual symposium. Key events will be a roster of distinguished speakers, including two Nobel laureates and a free pre-symposium open house to expose the latest in light-based science and technologies to the public. In addition to lectures from world-renown speakers, the symposium will include contributed papers and posters by investigators from Duke and other academic and industrial institutions.
