Duke in Silicon Valley

Duke In Silicon Valley

Summer 2016 – For Pratt Master's Students

Experience Studying, Living, and Working in Silicon Valley

The Pratt School of Engineering, in collaboration with the Duke Innovation and Entrepreneurship Initiative and Duke Law, is offering a four-week (3 credit) course in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at a Silicon Valley location in summer 2016. This course will be similar to the undergraduate Duke in Silicon Valley program.

The course will be limited to 20 students, and will consist of Pratt graduate students and students in Duke Law's Law and Entrepreneurship LLM program.

Among the key benefits of this experience, in addition to the academic course, will be afternoon discussions with Silicon Valley innovators and entrepreneurs, and field trips to various Silicon Valley companies.

After the Duke in Silicon Valley course, you will have the opportunity to complete an internship in Silicon Valley. We will work with Duke Alumni in Silicon Valley to identify internship opportunities so that participants may experience working and living in Silicon Valley.
