Michael Brownell, founder of Dayaway Careers, will provide insights and tips about entry-level jobs and internships in sustainable energy. He will cover the following topics: -Why investors are attracted to alternative energy -The types of Jobs (STEM, Business and Policy) and companies (start-ups, pure-plays, and divisional focus) defining the industry -Strategic steps you can take today to get into alternative energy in the coming years His message is passionate but honest. Alternative energy is an awesome way to make money and make a difference, but it is just beginning to scale. That means it is hard to get a job in sustainable energy today, but if you want one in the future, you can and should begin to prepare and position yourself now.
