Anthony Baldassari, Skanska USA Building, Inc.
Anthony Baldassari is a construction manager with Skanska USA Building, Inc. Beginning his career with Skanska back in 2000, Anthony spent the next two years in the Boston metro area managing airport renovation projects at Logan International Airport. In 2002, he relocated to the Skanska RTP office where he would begin working on a variety of projects for Duke University¿s academic campus and medical center. Previous experience includes the Duke University Chiller Plant #2 Expansion (a LEED Gold Project) and the Duke University Center for Interdisciplinary Engineering, Medicine and Applied Science (CIEMAS) project (a LEED Silver certified facility). Recently he has devised and composed a grant proposal partnering with key clients Duke University, Duke Smart Home, Oracle, and Tampa General Hospital to develop an environmental monitoring system mobile app prototype for the Apple iPhone, called ¿Skanska iSite.¿ Currently he serves as a Council Member of the Engineering Alumni Council (EAC) for Duke University Pratt School of Engineering, and since 2010, he has served as a member of the United States Green Building Council Triangle Chapter Committee. He is currently managing the Duke University Events Pavilion (a LEED Gold Project). He graduated from Merrimack College, in 2000, with a bachelor of science in Civil Engineering and a master¿s degree from Duke University in Engineering Management in 2006.
