Dr. Apoorv Agarwal, Founder and Principal (Ingineering Innovation LLC)

Dr. Apoorv Agarwal is the founder and principal of Ingineering Innovation, LLC, a consulting practice specializing in sustainability, alternative energy, new technology development and scaling-up start-ups. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and bringing new technologies to market in a defect-free manner. Apoorv's 18 year professional career spans solving real-world problems and developing new technologies at Ford Motor Company and scaling-up Organic Transit, a Durham, NC based start-up. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, Apoorv holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA, both from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Trained as an engineer to solve problems and as an MBA and General Manager to define problems, Apoorv offers a unique value proposition to start-ups that want to scale-up and to large organizations that want to be more innovative and disciplined about product development. He currently helps clients in the automotive, alternative fuels R&D and start-up community and also serves as a coach to MBA students at UNC Kenan -Flagler Business School.
