Industry Roundtable with Research Scientist Chelsea Betts

Chelsea Betts is a research scientist in the Analytical Chemistry department of RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company in Winston-Salem. She earned her Masters in Environmental Engineering in 2012 at Duke University. While at Duke, Chelsea interned with Sun Chemical Inks in Carlstadt, New Jersey, working specifically on gel permeation chromatography. After graduating from Duke, Chelsea was offered an internship with RJ Reynolds in the Analytic Research Group investigating the amino acid levels of various tobacco blends, which turned into a full-time position in 2012 at the Scientist III level. She has since been promoted to a Scientist IV level within the Analytical Research Group. Lunch will be provided. **To register,
