Dr. Amy C. Foster, Assistant Professor, Electrical and Computer Engineering, John Hopkins University

Amy Foster is an Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Her research focuses on nanoscale design and control of silicon-based photonic devices for nonlinear optical interactions. Amy's devices have applications in optical communications, biological sensing, and quantum information processing. Amy received her BS in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo (2003) and her MS (2007) and PhD (2009) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University.
