Jim Mundell is an Adjunct Associate Professor, Executive In Residence, and Director of DUHatch. He was recently Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Nextreme Thermal Solutions, Inc., a venture-funded technology company spun out of RTI International in 2004 that was sold to Laird, PLC. Jim has over 30 years of senior executive experience in semiconductor, microelectronics, medical devices, thermoelectrics, and electronic systems manufacturing serving the medical, telecommunications, computer, military, and consumer markets. He has held executive positions such as Chief Operating Officer, VP & GM, and VP of International Operations with General Electric, Harris Corporation, CTS Corporation, SCI Systems, and various early stage technology companies such as Volumetrics Medical Imaging, CBA, and Trivirix International. During the last 15 years of his career Jim has focused on helping early stage companies productize and commercialize technology, grow customer revenue, and establish domestic and international operations and supply chains in Asia and Europe.
