Subhash Kak, Regents Professor of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oklahoma State University, Stillwater

Abstract: The lecture will present a summary of recent research at the intersection of information, quantum computing and quantum cryptography. Challenges and opportunities in the field will be described. It will present the status of author's protocol for quantum cryptography that was recently implemented in free-space optics. Bio:Subhash Kak is Regents Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. His technical research is in the fields of information theory, neural networks, and quantum information. He is the author of twenty books of which the most recent is his autobiography called "A Circle of Memory."
