2015 Student Data Visualization Contest Reception
Friday, April 10, 2015
2:00 pm - 3:00 pm
For the last three years, Data and Visualization Services in the Duke University Libraries has sponsored a student data visualization contest to encourage students to preserve the hard work that goes into the visualizations they complete for courses or research projects. This year, the first, second, and third place winners of the visualization contest will be honored at a reception on Friday, April 10, in the Data and Visualization Lab in the Edge (on the 1st floor of Bostock Library). The reception will feature the work of these and former winners and celebrate a successful semester for the department, including the unveiling of a new lab space, the hiring of a new GIS assistant, and the hosting of a large exhibition of visualizations across campus. Please join us for this event!
